I sadly had to make the difficult decision to put down my sweet and beautiful cat Zoey on Valentines Day. She was 17 years and 7 months old. I also made the decision to have her cremated. I could not have chosen a more wonderful facility than Green Pet. Thankfully I had taken Zoey to Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialy and Emergency Center and she was euthanized there and they work with Green Pet. I was so impressed with Green's services. The box containing Zoey's ashes is just beautiful and her name on the box was such a special touch. To have clippings of her fur and the plaster imprint of her paw is so special. I had no idea exactly what to expect but this was so much more than I imagined and it all honestly blew me away. I am thrilled with Green Pet and the respect, care, and consideration given to Zoey. And to me at this most difficult time. Thank you so very much.

I had to put my sweet little kitty Olivia to sleep on Christmas night. I picked up her ashes at Greens and they gave me a clay pawprint, hair clippings and her ashes were in a beautiful box with her name on it. They are incredible and kind people here!

Our sweet boy Max was only 7 years old and we sadly had to let him go. Picking up his remains was bittersweet. I was expecting his ashes but there was so much more. The beautiful box with his name, the plaster imprint of his paw, and the snips of his fur...I just cried. I miss him so dearly but these keepsakes are priceless. Our family was devastated when we lost our Saint Bernard, Hudson, two weeks ago to a fast-moving cancer. We've had to cremate four other Saints, and none of them were treated with as much dignity and caring as Hudson was. When we went to Northview Animal Hospital to pick Hudson up to bring him home, among our tears was a great appreciation for how he was brought back to us. Not only were his remains in a beautiful box with his name, but we also received his (large) pawprint in plaster, as well as a lock of his hair. Never, in my wildest dreams, did I think I would be calling a crematory to thank them, but that's exactly what I did on Saturday. While we will never get over the loss of our amazing Hudson, we will forever be grateful to Green Pet Funeral Home for their caring, kindness and respect for our beloved family member. Thank you!!!!!

I recently lost a very special cat, named Chester, who was like a real baby to me. Through my emergency vet you provided the cremation. This is never an easy experience but Chester's passing has been especially difficult for me. When my husband brought his ashes home I was not coping well and as a result I didn't look inside the beautifully carved wooden box his remains came in. It took me over two days. What I found inside literally touched my heart. I have to let you know how very precious those gifts are to me, especially his paw imprint and the tuft of fur. I know I will mourn his passing for a very, very long time. Tears still come when I think of him. I miss him so very much, but comfort comes to me when I touch his paw imprint and his precious fur. I am also impressed with the kind and professional way your crematory handled everything, especially with care and respect. Thank you for all you do.

Thank you so much for making the loss of my little sweat heart Max a lot easier. Everyone I spoke to and dealt was so nice and treated me with such care.. Your care and compassion is second to none. You made a very difficult time a lot easier to bear and for that I will forever be grateful.

After a year long battle with severe IBD and PLE, I had to make the hardest decision of my life to euthanize my yorkie, Gizmo. He was only 9 but was the heart of our household. I had never had to euthanize before and it was tough. I am so thankful to Barb and staff for their friendliness and compassion. I felt as though I could bring up any concern no matter how silly. I probably called a dozen times with special requests but they met all my requests. It was a beautiful viewing and they explained the process as we went along which my husband and I appreciated. I would highly recommend Green Pet Cremation. I plan on using their services in the future when my other 4 dogs need to be put to rest. Thank you all again.

I just want to give a huge Thank You to Barb and the staff. I had to make that horrible and dreadful decision to have my fur baby, Chase (a 13 year old cocker spaniel) put down. We just wanted to say Thank you to Randy and the Staff for taking care of our beloved Marlie. We had to put our Girl down a week ago at the age of 5, a loving Chocolate Lab. I called and asked Randy for an update on her and broke down with emotion, Randy was caring and understandable of our emotions and comforted us on the phone. We lost our 11 year old dog. His name is Sherman. Beautiful boy and what a wonderful disposition. Sherman had the most loveable parents. He still a big part of my day:). It's only been 3 weeks and it seems like forever. I cannot express how wonderful Green Pet Funeral Home they are!!! Kind people and genuine. When I picked him up to take home, I was pleasantly surprised to have him in a beautiful box, his name on it, paw print in cement and a lock of his hair:). They made a difficult time in our lives and made it better. Thank you so much 💕

15 years ago on Thanksgiving Day my daughter stepped out onto the front porch of our house and a little grey kitten came from out of no where and jumped into her arms. That was the beginning of our relationship with ME ME. He settled in as part of the family and soon became friends with the canines in the house. On Saturday, November 23, we had to help ME ME cross the Rainbow Bridge. That in itself was extremely difficult. We were told by our vet that he would be returned to us in about a week, what we received was nothing short of a gift from God. ME ME's remains had been placed in a beautiful wooden urn, engraved with his name, a lock of his hair, a footprint of his and a copy of the poem the Rainbow Bridge. once again the tears flowed, this time because we were so happy that such consideration had been given in regards to returning ME ME in such a beautiful way to his family. Todd and his staff have now handled two of our dogs arrangements, and my family and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. I know that Abby and Lexi were well taken care of and won't trust any of the rest of our pets to anyone else. I recommend them to everyone that has a pet for when the time comes.

I recently had to make the hardest decision about my dog Luna. I had her for almost 15 years and she was such a huge part of my life. She was with me everyday...even at work. I had taken her to PVSEC and they said they used Green Pet Funeral Home. They were absolutely wonderful. They took care of everything from transporting her to when I received her remains. She came in a beautiful wooden box with her named engraved on it, a lock of her hair and her paw print. Everything was tagged with a number so that I knew it was her and that really gave me a piece of mind. Also when I went to pick her up, I was able to purchase a matching box and have my other dog, Zoe's, name engraved on it so they could match. Everyone was so nice and caring. I love the tribute page that you can do with pictures and obituaries. That is such a beautiful way to remember and honor your beloved family member. Thank you so much for your services.

I couldn't have been more impressed than with their service. Ziggy came home in a beautiful, engraved box, a lock of his hair in a separate little plastic bag, and a clay paw print. The staff was incredibly kinda and understanding. I've had many pets cremated, but have never felt almost 'good' when I left.

After a devastating fire at our son and daughter-in-laws home in West Mifflin, we put a call into Green Pet Funeral Home and Crematory. Our family's two dogs, Otis and Bruce had succumbed to the smoke and flames. Todd and Scott Green the funeral directors, Barb and Dalton the funeral service professionals had by far the most Caring Attitude, Personal touch, and Comforting demeanor. They all went the Extra Mile, to make the whole situation Feel Special. The Great Services that they provided made a hard time feel us with Peace of Mind. Just wanted to say thank you for your services. We recently lost a cat that had been with us for over 16 years. We decided to go the crematory route rather than the traditional backyard burial and we are very glad that we did. Our vet handled everything and we did not expect to get all that we got in return...beautiful box with name engraved, paw print in plaster heart, and hair clipping.
