Mogley Train Robins
7/17/2010 – 9/17/2025
10/17/2025 How has it been one month without our sweet, sweet boy?! We LOVE and MISS him so much! Mogley Train, continually called a MIRACLE by our vet, Dr. J at Holiday Park Animal Hospital in Plum, PA, lived until the extraordinary age of 15! He overcame EVERY obstacle that came his way including epilepsy, 3 different types of cancer, several surgeries to say the least, one resulting in losing a digit off his paw, and Cushing’s Disease. We lost track of it all and let him live as he was determined to thrive! He was the STRONGEST, MOST INCREDIBLE DOG. He was rescued around age 2 and we adopted him from a shelter. This handsome stud was home with us on 12/27/2013. Train became his middle name after he escaped a couple times to the local train tracks to explore! Let’s just say, he proved his resiliency right off the bat! He started out as a wild one, unsure of who he could trust, full of energy, and full of love that he wanted to give away but also receive! The way he loved his sisters, Ruby Grace, Reyna Marie, and Rosa Nova was heart-warming, selfless, and pure. He had 8 years with Ruby, 13 years with Reyna, and 7 months with Rosa and each relationship was a testament to how amazing he was! He specifically loved to lay his precious head against their cute bums, loved to lay on his dog Mama’s legs, and loved to be held in his dog Daddy’s arms! Mogley became everyone’s best friend and safe space. Our rock motivated us to get up during hard times and we witnessed him being submissive in ways to help his family. He thought every soft blanket was his and he continues to make us laugh when we pick up the blankets and see the holes that he created in them. He was a funny guy that was clumsy, he begged for his bones to be set out only to be tired within 10 minutes of playing with them, he enjoyed vehicle rides, multiple dog beds, walking right into the bath tub for his bath time, he became the water monster in creeks, he just had to test items around the house with his nose, messing with my flower vases, and even until his last day here on Earth, he persisted on wanting to go upstairs to our bed. It sucked having to tell him no as it wouldn’t have been safe for him anymore. In his last week with us, he devoured a delicious steak, warm puppy milk, and chick fil a grilled nuggies! Biggie Boy melted our hearts in every way. He challenged us in ways that have developed us into better humans, and he trained us to be some of the best dog parents! We have been so blessed to cater to him, spoil him, hug him, kiss his perfect big head, share with him, and make his days as loving and happy as possible! His happiness was our priority. Of course, he was excited to greet his Daddy at the door daily and taking a nap together on the couch! His Daddy was his favorite who gave him a long and prosperous life by always making sure he had the care he needed and never complaining about vet bills. Every second we had with him was worth it all. “Work hard to give your dog a better life,” they say. Our precious baby boy may have been a Daddy’s boy, but he loved his picture being taken, wearing snuggies, receiving birthday and Christmas gifts, and really anything his Mama did! He was a Mama's boy when it counted the most! In his old days, being over 100 years old, he loved being cheered for when he needed the extra strength! (“He is my man, if Mogley Train can't do it, no one can!" LOL) Our HAM filled our lives with enormous amounts of joy and somehow, he continues to do so, leaving us with a lot of peace even though we miss him with every ounce of our being. He stayed strong for us, and he was always the most content when his family were all together! His strong heart was bigger than his sweet head! We loved and appreciated him every single day he was here, and we are beyond grateful for the extra time he continued to give us. We had a Christmas in July party for his 15th birthday, and it will forever be one of the greatest memories. It will be a tradition in his honor, Mama’s forever Christmas baby, because he meant the WORLD to us. He deserved the best every day. He deserved to feel as loved as he made us feel. Sweet faced Moogs loved everyone! We wish we would have known sooner how much he would love going to the beach! We will never forget the special vacations with him that we were blessed to have. He was such a beautiful sight. We will never stop talking about him, picturing him on the cot at his window and taking his walk around the pool, appreciating the breeze and sunshine, feeling his presence, smile thinking about his happy pittie smile, and remembering he would want the best for his family. Mogley Train, our “straight-laced boy” made everything HAPPY. He has been and ALWAYS will be one of the GREATEST blessings of our lives!
